On the 1st of July 2009, The EU Commission is changing the way it records fiscal data from the EU’s Customs Authorities. It is therefore replacing its current TURN scheme, and implementing a new Economic Operator Registration Identification scheme (EORI). This new scheme will introduce a unique common identifier number for all traders within the EU who are involved in Customs related activities. read more.
