Our culture defines who we are as a company. The growth of SEKO SYNERGY has been about delivering our customers with great logistics solutions through a commitment to customer service and a passion about surpassing the competition through delivering innovation - time and time again.
How do we do it? Well, actually it's not easy – but with the right combination of people, technology and entrepreneurial spirit we think we have done a really great job in a very short space of time.

Mark White – Chairman

Mark has been in the logistics business for over 19 years. In 1993 he started his own private logistics company that grew to £30 million which was sold in 2001 to a US Multi national logistics company. After a short break honing his skills on the slopes Mark came up with the idea of starting a new company....and here we are !! (good idea Mark..)
Likes: Skiing and keeping fit
Dislikes: Staying out too late
Hobbies: Mark is currently training to swim the channel
An interesting fact that you didn’t know about Mark: His middle name is Lincoln - don't ask.
Keith O`Brien – Managing Director
SEKO SYNERGY Limited

Keith started his freight forwarding career in the eighties in his beloved Scotland. He worked in Manchester for Mark's old company as branch manager for 8 years before leaving to become the founding director of SEKO SYNERGY
Likes: Socialising, keeping fit and Manchester United (see told you he was from Scotland..)
Dislikes: Dark nights (what other kind is there ?) bad weather
Hobbies: Cycling,Squash and Golf
An interesting fact that you didn’t know about Keith: Whilst he was born in St.Andrews, the home of golf, he truly is the worst player to ever grace a course.
Dave Emerson – Director

Dave started his freight forwarding career in 1982. He worked for Expeditors for 13 years including 4 years living in Asia before joining EGL in 2000 as Vice President Sales and Marketing for the Europe region. Dave is married with a 15 year old daughter and 13 year old son.
Likes: The Mighty Arsenal FC, Mojitos, The Icicle Works
Dislikes: Rainy saturdays and Tofu
Hobbies: Running his sons football team (badly), trying to keep fit (really badly)
An interesting fact that you didn’t know about Dave: He was once an 18-30 club rep for a holiday company in the Greek Islands - no surprises there then.
Mike Claydon - Director
Mike started his career in the early sixties with Air Express International where he spent many years in Eastern and Southern Africa. He returned to the UK in 1982 as head of the UK, Ireland, Africa,Middle East and Indian Subcontinent region.
He left in 1987 to start Expeditors operations in Europe and was instrumental in their growth from one office to 63 offices in 18 countries by the time he retired in 2000.
Likes: Watching Brentford FC, repairing wheelbarrows
Dislikes: Cold weather (bad for his joints....bless)
Hobbies: being a grandad
An Interesting fact that you didn't know about Mike: In his spare time he earns extra money as a double for radio legend Dave Lee Travis.

Keith started his freight forwarding career in 1987. After working in operations for 6 years he was promoted to sales manager in Manchester for a US based forwarder. His last position was working with Keith and Mark in their old company.
Likes: Watching Fulham FC win (rarely), playing golf and socialising
Dislikes: Watching Fulham FC lose (often) and writing stuff about me that only my Mum and Dad would be interested in...
Hobbies: Golf and being a founder member of the Power Rangers Appreciation Society (UK).
An interesting fact that you didn’t know about Keith: He once shipped the famous Van Gogh "Sunflowers" painting.
Robert "Bob" Clarke – Finance Director

Bob joined SEKO SYNERGY in 2004 as finance director having spent 17 years with Dan Air and with other airlines both in the UK and overseas.
Likes: Sport and Money
Dislikes: Spicy food and sales people selling him things..
Hobbies: Work
An interesting fact that you didn’t know about Bob: Since he was five years old he has been able to recite the alphabet backwards as fast as he can recite it forwards.
Dave Perry – Operations Director

Dave started his career as a post flight clerk in 1988 ( we think he still is one !!). Having worked for two forwarders at the beginning of his career, his last nine, pre SEKO SYNERGY years were spent at a multi national forwarder until he left to become a director of the company. Dave is married to the "legend" that is Emma and they have two small children.
Likes: Haircuts, shopping and grey days
Dislikes: Smoking and Drinking
Hobbies: Quantum physics,fishing,cricket,Fulham FC and sobriety.
An interesting fact that you didn’t know about Dave: He once bought his fellow directors a round of drinks but was arrested for breaking into a £10 note.

Gary Rees – Managing Director
SEKO SYNERGY LOGISTICS

Gary started his business when he was 17 and was voted British entrepreneur of the year in 1989. The company developed from trucking into warehousing and then garment processing and is now one of the largest companies in the UK providing this service.
Gary is the father of 4 children and runs in marathons and competes in Iron Man competitions in his spare time.
Likes: My Sky Planner, Tottenham Hotspur FC
Dislikes: People who waffle and leave long answer-phone messages.
Hobbies: Iron-Man Triathlons and coaching friends.
